February Nature Report

On walks to the lake, I try to pause at least once where my attention lingers and take a photo there. I might be drawn to a pattern or texture, colors, the light, the mood, changes over time in a feature I pass regularly, or something I haven’t noticed before. It’s a small ritual of attention and appreciation that makes me feel alive - with energy, emotion, directional desire, satisfaction… and definitely with connection to something larger than myself … and to my core self.

Nature Reports collect a dozen photos I like best from a month of these walks, not only as an archive, but also as an invitation for others to share this pause, notice what comes up, and in doing so, perhaps sense that deeper connection.
